Im Rahmen des Weiterbildungsprogramms CAS “Erdbebensicherheit von Bestandsbauten” an der Hochschule Luzern gestaltete Dr. Safak Arslantürkoglu einen halbtägigen Unterrichtsblock zur nichtlinearen Modellierung von Mauerwerksbauten – ein zentrales Thema für die realitätsnahe Beurteilung des Tragverhaltens unter seismischer Beanspruchung.
The focus was on the principles of consistent modeling, plausibility checks of numerical results, and the validation of compliance factors through simple manual calculations. The goal was to equip participants with practical tools for a well- founded and critical approach to nonlinear models.
